Golden Sand Passenger Coach

Ride in the Golden Sand Passenger Coach and experience the Golden Age of railroading.  The Golden Sand will be leaving Georgia very soon. Don’t miss your chance to ride.

Available every Saturday in October at 12pm, 2pm, 4pm & 6pm.

Adults ages 13+ – $14.50

Children ages 3 to 12 – $8.50

Locomotive Cab Ride

Ride in the cab of the locomotive with the engineer. (limit 2 persons)

 Locomotive Rides occurring on days of special event excursions are not part of the special event excursion.  Riders will not be able to participate in or view the special event excursions from the locomotive.

It can be quite warm in the cab of the locomotive so dress accordingly and feel free to bring a water to stay hydrated.  
 
Minors 12 and up may ride unaccompanied. Kids 6 to 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Due to the difficulty climbing and navigating the engines, children under under 6 are not allowed.
 
Locomotive Cab Rides are available every Saturday the train operates.  The current price per person is $75.00, the regular price is $100.00 per person.  This special price of $75.00 will be in effect for trains in October of 2024.
