Good Ol Train Ride

How about a good, old-fashioned train ride? Enjoy a 1-hour train ride aboard our open-air rail coaches on America’s oldest, privately owned short line railroad. We’ll head out on the rails along Hwy 40 through busy Kingsland, Ga, and stop on a bridge atop the beautiful marshes of the St Mary’s River before heading back.
Open Air
Our Open-Air Cars are a fun way to socialize and feel the energy as you wave to the people as you pass by them on the tracks. Enjoy the wind in your face and dress appropriately. ALL Georgia Coastal Railway Experience train rides now go to Burrell Creek to see the Georgia marsh. Trains run Rain or Shine. There are no bathroom facilities on the train. Please use the station facilities if needed before boarding the train.
Adults (Ages 13+) $10 + tax/fee
Kids (Ages 3 – 12) $5 + tax/fee
Toddlers ages 2 and under ride free in the lap of an adult.
Celebration Caboose
The Celebration Caboose ride is a private reservation with a capacity for up to 10 people. This is a climate-controlled car. There are no bathroom facilities on the train. Please use the station facilities if needed before boarding the train.
Up to 10 People – $285 + tax/fee
Toddlers ages 2 and under do not count as riders

Locomotive Cab Ride
Ride in the cab of the locomotive with the engineer. (limit 2 persons)
The Locomotive is special but separated from the other train cars. Riders will not be able to participate in or view characters from the locomotive during any themed or special event excursions.
