Jack McDevitt is a celebrated science fiction author with 35 novels to his credit that started with “The Hercules Text” in 1986 and won the Philip K. Dick Special Award. Jack’s works have been on the final ballot for the Nebula Awards for 12 of the past 13 years. His latest novel, “Return to Glory,” is an anthology of his short stories of which one story is the namesake of the novel’s title. The story is set on Earth two hundred years from now where an archeologist uncovers a copy of a long lost show called “Star Trek” only to discover it is something called a fan production! Wow!

Joe Motes is the force that created Vulkon Entertainment which specialized in science fiction-related fan conventions from 1986 through 2003, and also created the Seatrek Cruises that ran from 1987 through 2003 (and Joe will tell you the idea was a collaboration with James Doohan!) Joe has hundreds of Star Trek friends and has all the stories to boot!

Enjoy a day of fun with their guests during meet-and-greet sessions, panels, photo ops and autograph sessions! And maybe take a scenic train ride in one of our open-air cars!

Admission is FREE if you book a train ride at the station, or else a $10.00 entrance fee.
